At the Quality Control System Audit a site review is conducted if it is necessary. At the Environmental Control System Audits however, the site review is compulsory. The aim of the site review is to explore inadequacies or missing elements in the system operation.

At site reviews the structure of the system and the correctness of the planning and evaluation are examined. Information is collected about the typical circumstances and performance of the Client’s organisation and control environment regarding the organisational and personal facilities, and the location and preparedness to conduct the stage 2 audit.

The associates of the Organisation are asked by the auditors using interview methods about the operation of the Quality Control and Environmental Control Systems. They take an insight into the internal operation documents and notes. A written report is prepared about the site review in which the deviation from the standard element is evaluated in order so that the organisation examined will have the chance to make corrections by the time of the qualifying audit.
